Bubbling Well Road, LLC ("Cahokia") operates CahokiaRice.com and may operate other websites. It is Cahokia's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Cahokia collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Cahokia's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Cahokia's visitors use its website. From time to time, Cahokia may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Cahokia also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on CahokiaRice.com blogs/sites. Cahokia only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that commenter IP addresses and email addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog/site where the comment was left.

Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Business Transfers

If Cahokia, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Cahokia goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party.
